Salmon-crested cockatoo

The most characteristic feature of the cockatoo is its erectile crest. It allows him to express different feelings, from anger to seduction. This particular species , light pink, comes from Indonesia's rain forest. This one used to live in a birds-park of northern Europe. It's base is a black and white petrified wood slab, from Indonesia as well.
