Acropora branch under large glass

White coral branch, the name of the genus Acropora comes from the greek Akro which means sharp. Most of the species of this genus do have a morphology in a column shape. They often have a shape of deer horns or romanesco cauliflower . Some rare species of Acropora have a more massive morphology.
