Butterfly Atacus Atlas from Thailand in a museum grey lizard box. The biggest nocturnal butterflies of the world. It measures between 20 and 30 cms. It's wings are of red color brown, with more yellow characteristic drawings at the upper end of the wings, imitating the head of a cobra.
Birds are frightened by this fake snake, when the Atacus Atlas opens and closes abruptly its wings. |
